The historic boarding house and ‘home hotel’ was on the brink of demolition when it was rescued nearly 8 years ago. It has been a laborious process of restoring the building to health and bringing back it’s original grandeur, but we think you’ll agree, it’s been worth the effort!

Located just one block off Globe’s Historic downtown district, it is a perfect spot from which to explore the area and then come home to a slice of history where you can enjoy a drink with friends from our porch or in front of the fireplace. Each of the rooms has a bit  of local lore and history unique to this area.

We know you’ll find your visit to Chrysocolla Inn memorable and we look forward to being your hosts!

I can’t wait to stay here next time I come back to Globe!! It’s across the street from where I grew up on Oak Street!

    Greeting!
Spectacular job on the Inn. LOVE restored old buildings!
My sister, nephew and I stayed at the Noftsger Hill Inn several months ago, and are hungry for more. Are any of you rooms “haunted”? We love doing paranormal research in old buildings, and are quickly falling in love with Globe. Great people, good food, awesome old buildings!

Some of our first guests were the San Diego Ghost Hunters. http://www.sandiegoghosthunters.com They assured us there were many spirits present, all friendly. They received confirmation from these spirits that the Chrysocolla Inn was, in fact, the former residence of Big Nose Kate. Come join the”Spirits” for a lovely weekend at our inn.

The inn is restored so beautifully and one can feel the labor of love that went into it. There are no less than 10 seating areas throughout to sit and read a book or visit with a friend or loved one. There is a common room that we enjoyed late into the night, sharing stories and playing the guitar. We felt like it was a second home. Each room is decorated with a theme in mind and the baths all have a claw-foot tub. Holly, Heidi and Rosemary made us feel so welcome and our food was wonderful. If you go through Globe, please stop and stay at least one night!!
